Think of the scenario. Its late, there
is a cold wind blowing outside and the rain
has just started. You realise that it is
time for Zoom's late night walkies just
before bedtime. You put on your waterproof,
warm winter coat and set out. By the time
you get home, poor Zoom is drenched and
shivering and will be uncomfortable for
most of the night. With his short fur body
heat is lost more quickly.
This new, exclusive
range of coats is made from an extra
heavy water-resistant nylon outer
shell and is lined with a warm cream fleece.
The coat is reflective all the way
round the edges as can be seen from the
pictures on the left (click any picture for
a large image). For additional safety
reflective strips are also placed on
both sides of the coat at the back. Clip
release buckles waist strap
make it easy to put on and remove this
designer coat and are fixed to the coat with
reflective polypropylene webbing
strapping that is adjustable for a comfort
fit. The coat slides over the whippets head
and is sewn at the chest.
Like our other whippet dog
coats this coat has been made in two halves
which allows for a curve shape to the back of
the coat. This contours around the body of a
whippet
and provides a much greater fit than our
standard Clip-Release coat.
On the dog, these whippet
coats not only help keep your pet warm and
dry but also look attractive and stylish and
are very exclusive at the same time.
This is helped by the black edging, black
back-stripe and matching black strap. This
coat features a "hood" that can
be pulled up over the dogs neck during particularly
bad weather (see picture opposite).
This range of stylish and
practical dog coats are fully machine
washable (40deg C, no iron). They are
designed for quality, practicality, and
durability.
Remember the 'Starbright
Whippet Coat' range is not available in any shop
or anywhere else on the internet. If your best
friend deserves the very best there is no need
to look elsewhere.

When
measuring your dog be sure he/she is standing
squarely in a natural position with the
head up. Take a tape-measure and measure
from the base of the neck to the base of
the tail (as depicted above). This value
(in inches) is the size of dog coat you
want. If you dog measures 21" it is
probably best to go for Large and likewise,
24" go for X-Large. Don't forget that the base of the
tail should preferably be covered to stop
rain dripping down the back of the dog's
legs.
